Interior

There is 21 cubic feet of storage space in the Buick Envista, compared to 25 cubic feet in the Chevy Trailblazer, but the Chevrolet SUV has under 41 inches of front-row legroom. The Buick Envista provides 42 inches so you can stretch out your legs on the way back to Wilkes-Barre. The new Buick Envista includes exclusive QuietTuning® technology for a serene ride, and you can fold the seats to work with up to 42 cubic feet of cargo space. A moonroof is available for the Buick Envista, and the flat-bottom steering wheel is one of many performance-inspired details in the coupe SUV. The Chevy Trailblazer offers neither feature.

Technology

Each SUV includes wireless smartphone integration through Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. The Buick Envista gives Moosic, PA motorists access to an 11-inch diagonal ultrawide infotainment display. A Chevy Trailblazer provides an 11-inch touchscreen as well. Both crossovers come with an 8-inch diagonal Driver Information Center. Wireless smartphone charging is a shared available upgrade.

Performance

Because the Envista and Trailblazer are both GM SUVs, they share a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine that outputs 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque.

Safety

Thanks to standard Rear Park Assist, you'll know what's behind your Buick Envista when you back out of a Wilkes-Barre parking lot. The Buick Envista holds the parking edge, as this feature is not provided by the Chevy Trailblazer. However, because these are GM SUVs, the safety features of Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Following Distance Indicator, IntelliBeam® Auto High Beams are identical. Interior

There's an extra half-inch of legroom in the back row of the Buick Envista. The Kona doesn't have Active Noise Cancellation. QuietTuning for the new Buick Envista creates a calm interior on the way home from Wilkes-Barre after picking up the kids from school.

Technology

The Hyundai Kona has a 4.2-inch color LCD display. That's half the size of a the standard 8-inch diagonal Driver Information Center in the Buick Envista. This feature lets you visualize key details more clearly. With remote commands, Scranton drivers can control their Buick Envista from everywhere. Remotely start your SUV, unlock the doors, and more. A Hyundai Digital Key 2 Touch is needed to perform these functions with the Kona, and it doesn't come until the SEL Convenience trim. The Buick Envista provides them as a standard tech feature. Both SUVs offer wireless smartphone charging and include wireless Apple CarPlay®/Android Auto™ integration.

Performance

The Hyundai Kona can't keep up accelerating at Scranton stoplights like the Buick Envista. The Kona delivers 132 pound-feet of torque, while the Buick Envista is rated for an additional 30 pound-feet of torque.

Safety

The Kona also comes with a similar Lane Keeping Assist and High Beam Assist feature. A Rear View Monitor with parking guidance is provided, but Rear Park Assist for the Buick Envista is equally innovative.

The Kia Seltos' legroom figures of 41 and 38 inches are tighter than the Buick Envista at 42 and 39 inches for the first and second rows, respectively. But the Seltos requires you to pay more for rear parking sensors, which are available on the mid EX trim.
